Use the library

Once you graduate, you are still welcome to borrow books from and use the facilities and resources at AU Library and the Royal Danish Library on Victor Albecks Vej (among other locations). 

AU Library is now part of the Royal Danish Library. As a library user, you are able to search for and order material using the main search and lending system. You can access this system from the following websites:

Online resources and services

• Research publications from Aarhus University: Here you can download many of the university’s research publications.

• The Royal Danish Library’s various collections and systems.
• Ask the Library: Here you can get help with and guidance on searching and borrowing at AU Library and the Royal Danish Library.
• Bibliotek.dk: Here you can search for books and journals in all Danish libraries, which you can order to collect at your local public library or research library.

AU Library’s facilities and resources

When you are at one of the AU Library locations, you can: 

• Use databases: Search subject-specific databases using the library computers. Due to licensing agreements, the library can unfortunately not offer remote access to these databases. 
• Get help with information searches: Competent members of staff can help you when you visit the library.
• Make use of the many library facilities and services.
